Get Your Free EstimateNo Surprises, Just Solid Results
Having concrete poured at your home is a major investment. As a trusted local contractor, we believe in complete transparency. Our process is designed to ensure you know exactly what's happening at every step, and more importantly, that the final product lasts for decades.
Consultation & Estimate
It starts with a conversation. We'll come out to your property, measure the space, discuss your needs, and identify any potential drainage or grading challenges. You'll receive a detailed, honest estimate with no hidden fees.
Scheduling & Prep
Once you approve the estimate, we get you on the schedule. Before we break ground, we contact Blue Stakes to mark all underground utilities. Safety and preparation are our top priorities before the heavy equipment arrives.
Excavation & Base
This is where the real work begins. We tear out any old concrete and excavate down to solid dirt. We then bring in high-quality road base and compact it thoroughly. A perfect driveway starts with a perfect, unyielding base.
Forming & Steel
We meticulously set the forms to ensure proper slope for water runoff. Depending on the project requirements, we install rebar or wire mesh to give the concrete the tensile strength it needs to handle heavy loads and Utah's freeze-thaw cycles.
The Pour & Finish
Pour day! We use high-PSI concrete mixes tailored for the job. Our crew screeds, floats, edges, and applies the final finish (usually a light broom finish for traction). We work efficiently to ensure a uniform, beautiful surface.
Curing & The 30-Day Rule
Once we leave, the concrete begins its curing process. While you can walk on it after 24-48 hours, we strictly require waiting a full 30 days before driving any vehicles on it.
Why 30 Days?
Concrete takes 28-30 days to reach its maximum compressive strength. Driving on it prematurely can cause microscopic fractures that lead to structural failure later. Adhering to this 30-day rule is essential to protect your investment and maintain your warranty.
